HEUDIASYC Mixed Research Unit, CNRS / Compiegne University of Technology, France.
 Facial image analysis (detection, expression classification, tracking) for vision-based human computer interaction and behavior recognition.

Digital image watermarking for DRM and data hiding.
Research experience

European Network of Excellence PASCAL - IST - FP6 (Pattern Analysis, Statistical Modelling and Computational Learning).
European project INTERFACE - IST - FP5 (Multimodal Analysis/Synthesis System for Human Interaction to Virtual and Augmented Environments).
European project VIDAS - ACTS - FP4 (Video assisted with audio coding and representation), MPEG-4 SNHC.

National projects from the French Ministry of Research, the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, and the CNRS Department of Sciences and Technologies of Information and Communication:
- Image watermarking for security and DRM.
- Image analysis for facial communications.
- A cued speech speaking virtual actor controlled by watermarking: face analysis/synthesis and application for the digital MPEG-2 television.
- Digital watermarking and data hiding.
- Computer vision and machine learning for human behaviour understanding ; application to car driver surveillance for improved driving safety.

Industrial projects on face and behavior analysis.
