Information fusion for scene understanding

Résumé : Image understanding is a key issue in modern robotics, computer vision and machine learning. In particular, driving scene understanding is very important in the context of advanced driver assistance systems for intelligent vehicles. In order to recognize the large number of objects that may be found on the road, several sensors and decision algorithms are necessary. To make the most of existing state-of-the-art methods, the issue of scene understanding is addressed from an information fusion point of view.
