In a few words

Dr. Jean Pierre COCQUEREZ received the PhD degree in Image Processing at University of PARIS XI Orsay (France) in 1981. From 1989 to 1999, he was director of the Image and Signal Processing research CNRS team in the University of Cergy (France). Since September 1999, he joined the Department of Information Processing Engineering of University of Technology of Compiegne (UTC France), and he is a member of HEUDIASYC Laboratory. From 2001 to 2007, he was the director of the Department of Information Processing Engineering of UTC. Since 2007, he is director the Master of UTC "Science Technology, Health". Jean Pierre Cocquerez is also director of the french Research Network ISIS(Image, Signal, Information, System).

He is a regular reviewer for a number of journals and international conferences IEEE ICIP and IEEE ICASSP. His current research includes: Image segmentation, Features extraction, and Computer Vision.
